Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a single vehicle crash in Kilmore this morning.
A passer-by discovered the crash scene about 11.20am.
It appears the car was travelling along Wandong Road, east of Millard Road, when it crashed into a tree.
Sadly the driver and sole occupant of the car, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
