Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash in Mortlake on 31 January where a man has since died.
It is understood a vehicle crashed into a tree on Hamilton Highway about 11.05am.
The 63-year-old driver was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died on 2 February.
Warrnambool Highway Patrol are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and will prepare a report for the coroner.
