About 11.25am, a white MG travelling west on Greenlands Road and a silver Porsche travelling south on Forrest Highway were involved in a collision at the intersection.
The 64-year-old female passenger of the Porsche suffered serious injuries and was taken to Peel Health Campus for medical treatment.
The 77-year-old male driver of the white MG died at the scene.
