Police and emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash at Bulgunnia, in the state’s Far North.
At about 12.30am on Tuesday 26 May, emergency services were called to the Stuart Highway, approximately 100 km north of Glendambo, following reports of a collision between a road train and a vehicle.
The Stuart Highway is currently closed in both directions and is expected to remain closed for some time. Motorists travelling north are advised to stop at Glendambo, while those travelling south should stop at Coober Pedy.
Major Crash investigators are enroute to the scene.
