Police are responding to serious crash at North Moonta, South Australia

A man has been airlifted to hospital after a crash at North Moonta this evening.

Just before 8.30pm on Sunday 17 November police and emergency services were called to Old Wallaroo Road near Stock Road after a car crashed into a tree.

The driver sustained serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted to Adelaide for treatment. A passenger in the Mitsubishi ute was also injured and was taken to Wallaroo Hospital.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and ask anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
