Police are responding to serious crash – Brentwood

Traffic Enforcement Group officers are seeking information regarding a serious crash in Brentwood on Thursday 25 June 2020.

About 9:00pm three vehicles, a Honda Accord sedan, a Nissan X-Trail, and a Land Rover Range Rover, were being driven east on Leach Highway. They approached the intersection of Moolyeen Road, where they were required to stop at a red traffic light.

The first two vehicles stopped at the red traffic light, however the Honda Accord crashed into the rear of one of the other two vehicles, pushing it into the third vehicle.

The driver of the Honda Accord, a 43-year-old man, was found to be unresponsive and after being provided initial emergency medical assistance at the scene he was taken to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, where he remains.

The occupants of the other two vehicles did not receive any serious injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
