Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a serious crash which occurred in Elgin, near Capel, yesterday, Wednesday 28 February 2024.
About 10:35am, a white Hino truck and a silver Mitsubishi Triton utility were travelling south on Railway Road when they were involved in a collision.
A 13-month-old male passenger of the utility was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
The 37-year-old male driver of the utility and the 18-year-old male driver of the truck were uninjured.
