Police are responding to serious crash in Gap, QLD

A 38-year-old Clayfield man is in a critical condition following a traffic crash at The Gap this morning (August 11).

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 6.20am at the intersection of Dillon Road and Highwood Road, a crash occurred between a vehicle and cyclist.

The cyclist, a 38-year-old man, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.

A 31-year-old Mitchelton man, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, was not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
