Five teenagers are in a serious condition following a single vehicle crash involving an alleged stolen vehicle at Ipswich overnight.
Initial investigations indicate about 2am a black SUV wagon lost control and rolled while travelling on a dirt road near Chum Street, New Chum.
The vehicle was allegedly stolen from an Oxley address overnight.
Forensic Crash Unit and detectives from the Child Protection Investigation Unit and the Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating.
Anyone with information that may be able to assist with investigations is urged to come forward.
