Police arrest four after Wodonga warrant

Wodonga Divisional Tasking Unit and Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested four men after executing a warrant in Wodonga earlier today.

Investigators executed the warrant at property in Macpherson Street about 10.20am.

As a result of the warrant police located three firearms, an energy conducted device, several items of ski and camping gear believed to have been stolen and various quantities of drugs of dependence.

The Bomb Response Unit was also called to the address after a suspicious item was located.

They are currently at the premises and will detonate the item as a safety precaution.

Four men aged in their mid-30s are expected to be interviewed in relation to firearm offences, handle stolen goods and drug offences.
