Police arrest four over Findon robbery, South Australia

Three men and a teenage boy were quickly arrested following a robbery at a unit complex at Findon overnight.

At about 12.10am on Friday 9 August a man was walking through the Noblet Street unit complex when he saw a male watching him from a second floor balcony. He was then allegedly approached by three men, one of whom pointed a firearm at the victim while, another held a knife to his throat. The victim was robbed of his mobile phone and car keys.

Patrols quickly responded and searched the area, locating the four suspects nearby, one being in possession of the victim’s mobile phone and a knife suspected of being used to threaten the victim.

A replica firearm also believed to have been used in the robbery was located nearby.

A 23-year-old man from Mawson Lakes and a 20-year-old man of no fixed place were arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery and will appear at Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

A 19-year-old man from Bowden and a 17-year-old boy from Kilburn were also charged with Aggravated Robbery and will appear at Port Adelaide Magistrates Court and Youth Court at a later date.

The victim was not injured as a result of the incident.
