Police arrest four teens after stolen vehicle crashes in Point Cook

Westgate Alliance Taskforce detectives are investigating after an allegedly stolen vehicle was involved in a crash in Point Cook before the occupants fled the scene.

Police responded to earlier reports of a crash on Brooklyn Street about 7.20pm on Wednesday, 21 September.

On police arrival, four teenagers were stood outside of the vehicle then fled the scene on foot.

A 16-year-old Truganina boy and a 14-year-old Truganina boy were arrested a short distance away.

With assistance from the Air Wing and the Dog Squad, police arrested two 15-year-old Point Cook boys at a paddock on Hacketts Road.

The four teenagers are assisting police with their enquiries.
