Police arrest man after drugs, weapons and exotic birds found

Frankston Crime Investigation Unit Detectives have arrested three men after executing a warrant in Lyndhurst Wednesday morning, 22 December.

The warrant was executed at an address on Freshwater Place just around 8.20am.

Police seized two scarlet macaw birds, a commercial quantity of cocaine, a commercial quantity of methyl amphetamine, a commercial quantity of gamma hydroxy butanol, large quantity of cash, three rifles, two handguns, five imitation handguns, five imitation machine guns as well as other prohibited weapons, an identity making machine and stolen licences.

A 41-year-old Lyndhurst man is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

A 33-year-old Vermont South man and a 27-year-old Carrum man were released pending further enquiries.
