Detectives from Casey Crime Investigation Unit have arrested a man following an alleged aggravated burglary in Endeavour Hills yesterday.
It is alleged the man entered the Knight Court home about 6am where he stole a Kia Sportage.
The man crashed the stolen car into another vehicle on Power Road in Doveton about 11am.
He then drove a short distance before running away.
Police located property that was allegedly stolen from the Endeavour Hills home throughout the vehicle.
Investigators arrested the 25-year-old man from Doveton a short time later.
He has been charged with aggravated burglary, theft of motor vehicle, traffic related offences and deception related offences.
The man was remanded in custody and is expected to face the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court today.
