Protective Services Officers have arrested a man following a fire in Oakleigh South this morning.
Emergency services were called to reports of a factory fire on Valley Street about 3am.
The fire caused minor damage to the property and there were no injuries.
A 53-year-old man was arrested at Clayton Railway Station a short time later.
Detectives will interview him this morning.
The investigation is ongoing.
