Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives have arrested a man following a sexual assault at a Melbourne library in June.
Detectives were investigating after a 20-year-old Melbourne woman was sexually assaulted on Swanston Street about 6.30pm on Saturday 27 June.
A 44-year-old Eltham North man was arrested in the CBD yesterday and interviewed in relation to the matter.
He has been charged with one count of sexual assault and will face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later today.
