Police Arrest Man After Underdale Robbery

Western District Police made a quick arrest following an alleged robbery at an Underdale service station this afternoon.

It will be alleged about 2pm on Monday 22 June, a man entered the servo on Henley Beach Road, Underdale. When requested to pay for items, he alleged brandished what appeared to be a firearm before stealing items and leaving the store.

The female attendant was not physically injured during the robbery.

Following investigations, police attended a Findon address this afternoon and arrested a suspect without incident.

The 23-year-old man was charged with commit theft using force and refused police bail. He will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow, Tuesday 23 June.

Police also seized an imitation firearm.
