A man has been arrested after absconding from an Oakden health facility this afternoon.
Police were called to a health facility at Oakden just before 1.30pm on Friday 16 October after receiving information a detained patient had absconded.
Eastern District police immediately responded and conducted a search of the area.
The patient was located less than 30 minutes later on Grand Junction Road.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested and is expected to be charged with escape lawful custody later today.
