Police arrest man for burglary in Endeavour Hills

Police have arrested a man following an alleged burglary in Endeavour Hills early this morning.

Investigators were called to a school on James Cook Drive at 5am after being advised that an alarm had gone off.

Police attended and quickly located a man inside the premises who was also wanted on outstanding warrants.

A bag was also located nearby which contained a number of allegedly stolen items.

The 34-year-old man was arrested and taken back a nearby police station to be interviewed.

He has been charged with burglary, theft and five counts of theft from motor vehicle and has been presented directly to Dandenong Magistrates’ Court.

This arrest is part of Operation Tidal which utilises a highly visible police presence across the Casey, Greater Dandenong and Cardinia Police Service Areas (PSAs).

Tidal is an ongoing operation and police will continue to focus resources where they’re most needed.
