Police arrest man over stabbing at Klemzig, South Australia

A man was arrested after a stabbing at Klemzig last night.

Just before 7pm on Monday 1 November, police and paramedics were called to a house in Victoria Street after reports that a man in his 30s had been stabbed in the stomach and leg with a knife, which was recovered at the scene.

He was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Following investigations, police arrested a 28-year-old Taperoo man and charged him with serious criminal trespass and assault cause serious harm. He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.

Investigations are in their early stages but detectives do not believe this was a random incident.
