Police arrest man with hundreds of stolen items

A man has been arrested after allegedly stealing in excess of $73K worth of goods from businesses.

Acting on information from the public, Western District Police attended and searched a grocery store at Rosewater. Police located more than 150 property items suspected of being stolen from various stores in metropolitan Adelaide.

Police attended the suspect’s home address in Mawson Lakes and located further items suspected to be stolen.

The stolen property includes tools, Wi-Fi routers, security cameras, perfumes, headphones, Bluetooth speakers, R.M. Williams boots and shavers.

All items were seized and believed to total in excess of $73,000.

A 42-year-old man from Mawson Lakes was arrested and charged with theft and unlawful possession. He was granted bail to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 1 October.
