Police have arrested four teenagers who allegedly threw rocks at vehicles in Brookfield early yesterday morning.
Emergency services received four reports of rocks being thrown from the Bulmans Road overpass onto traffic travelling on the Western Freeway shortly after midnight.
Uniform officers from Melton quickly arrived on the scene and arrested three male youths and one female.
All four – an 18-year-old man from Brookfield, a 16-year-old boy from Melton South, a 19-year-old man from Melton and 19-year-old woman from Taylors Hill – were released and expected to be charged on summons with conduct endangering life.
Four vehicles were reported to be damaged however it’s believed there were no injuries.
