Today, Detectives from Serious and Organised Crime Branch searched several addresses across Adelaide, resulting in three arrests.
The searches come after a protracted investigation into an organised crime group who police will allege were trafficking methamphetamine and other drugs.
A 54-year-old man from Port Noarlunga South, a 55-year-old man from Goodwood and a 30-year-old man from Mile End were all arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled drug. They were refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 18 November.
“This investigation is an example of the work undertaken by the Serious and Organised Crime Branch to detect, disrupt, disable and dismantle drug trafficking syndicates. People involved in drug trafficking have no care for those that they harm through illicit drugs,” said Detective Superintendent Billy Thompson, Officer in charge of Serious and Organised Crime Branch.
