Police arrest three for firearms offences

Detectives searched an address in Angle Park this morning and located numerous stolen firearms.

About 11am on Wednesday 13 November, detectives from Western District searched a property at Angle Park where they located two handguns, a sawn off shotgun and five rifles. The firearms have been identified as being stolen.

A quantity of incorrectly stored ammunition was also located, along with a cross bow, knives and other prohibited weapons which were seized from the property.

A 60-year-old man, a 36-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman all from Angle Park were arrested and charged with numerous firearms, drugs and weapons offences.

All three people were refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 14 November.
