Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested three men in relation to about 40 bush/grass fires in the Bendigo and Campaspe areas.
The fires were allegedly lit by the trio between November last year and 27 March.
Police arrested the three men shortly after two fires were reported in Bolinda and Toobarac last night.
Those arrested are two men aged 36 and 38 from Huntly and a 32-year-old Long Gully man.
They have been remanded to appear before an out of sessions court in Bendigo on Saturday 28 March.
