Two people have been arrested following a police pursuit through Sydney’s west this morning.
About 9.30am (Thursday 20 July 2023), officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command were patrolling the Revesby area, when they detected an allegedly stolen vehicle travelling on Hume Highway, Prestons.
When the Hyundai Sonata sedan failed to stop as directed, a police pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit was terminated a short time later due to safety concerns. PolAir continued to monitor the vehicle before it crashed on North Rocks Road at North Rocks just after 11am today.
The male driver and female passenger were arrested at the scene before being taken to Ryde Police Station.
