Police arrest two at Aldinga Beach, South Australia

A man and a woman have arrested after they found on a building site this morning at Aldinga Beach.

Just before 5am on Tuesday 9 April, police patrols were called to a home under construction at the Esplanade at Aldinga Beach, after a neighbour reported seeing two people with torches walking through the nearly completed three storey home.

On arrival, patrols located a woman wearing a black beanie and carrying a torch and tools, meanwhile a man was seen to jump the back fence to a neighbouring home, but he was quickly rounded up by another patrol.

A 39-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman both from Aldinga, were both arrested and charged with being on premises for an unlawful purpose and going equipped to commit and offence after they were found in possession of spanners, screwdrivers, files and torches.

They are both going to be bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court at a later date.
