Two girls have been arrested following an alleged animal cruelty incident in Yarragon on 25 February.
Police are investigating allegations that two girls aged 16 and 19 committed an act of animal cruelty on a Loch Street property.
The two girls were arrested and interviewed in relation to the matter.
The 19-year-old was released pending summons to attend court at a later date and the 16-year-old was given a caution.
