Two teenagers have been arrested after trespassing at a Port Augusta home overnight.
Police were called to Stuart Terrace about 11.45pm on Sunday 28 September following reports that three youths had been seen in the yard of a home.
Patrols searched the area and located one of the suspects on Clontarf Street about 12.30am. The 14-year-old Port Augusta boy was searched and allegedly found in possession of a machete. He was arrested and charged with unlawfully being on premises, stating a false name, carrying a prohibited weapon, possessing cannabis and breaching bail.
Following further investigations, police attended a Port Augusta address and arrested a 15-year-old Port Augusta boy. He was charged with unlawfully being on premises and breaching bail.
Both youths were bailed to appear in the Port Augusta Magistrates Court on 4 November.
Enquiries are continuing to identify the third youth.
