Police arrest woman after stabbing at Paralowie, South Australia

A woman was arrested after a man was allegedly stabbed at Paralowie last night.

Police and paramedics were called to the Paralowie home at 10pm on Saturday 16 February by reports a man had been stabbed.

When police arrived, the occupants locked themselves inside the house and refused to cooperate with police. Police entered the house and located a man with a stab wound to the stomach. The 48-year-old man was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment. He is undergoing surgery however his injury is not believed to be life-threatening.

A 46-year-old woman at the address was arrested and charged with aggravated assault cause harm. She was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 29 March.

Investigations are continuing into this incident, which is believed to be a domestic incident.
