Police arrest woman for serious assault, South Australia

A man is in hospital with serious injuries following a stabbing at Kilburn early this morning.

About 12.50am, Saturday 25 April, police and SA Ambulance were called to Churchill Road after reports of a domestic dispute.

Patrols located a 22-year-old man with a serious stab wound to the chest. He was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, his injuries are considered life threatening.

A woman ran from the home jumping a rear fence, she was quickly located by patrols in Kitchener Street.

The 22-year-old woman from Kilburn was arrested and taken to hospital for medical treatment. She is expected to be charged with attempt murder later today.

This is not a random attack, both parties are known to each other.
