Detectives from the Internal Investigation Section yesterday arrested 29-year-old police officer from the Riverland and charged her with two counts of assault.
The charges are not related to her policing duties.
The officer has been suspended with pay.
The officer has been given police bail to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court on 26 October 2026.
No further comment will be made on the matter.
