Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a 23-year-old man following two aggravated burglaries in Narre Warren and Berwick this week.
It is alleged a car was stolen during the first aggravated burglary that occurred on Donatello Crescent in Narre Warren on Monday 7 October in the early hours of the morning.
It is also alleged the same offender stole a car, BMX and the victim’s handbag during an aggravated burglary on Kerferd Street in Berwick early yesterday morning.
The Berwick man has been charged with 13 charges, including two counts of theft of motor vehicle, two counts of aggravated burglary – person present, possess cannabis and other related offences.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at the Dandenong Magistrates’ Court today.
