Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a fatal collision in Ormond last year.
The collision, between a truck and pedestrian, occurred at the intersection of North and Booran roads about 11am on 18 August.
The pedestrian, 63-year-old Caulfield South woman, sadly died at the scene.
A 76-year-old Launching Place man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death.
He was bailed to appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 22 April.
