Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a fatal collision in Lalor last year.
A 19-year-old Epping man was allegedly struck and killed while crossing Childs Road on 8 November, 2020.
The incident occurred when the man and his sister were on a pedestrian crossing just before 7.30pm.
An 81-year-old Reservoir man was charged on 17 November with dangerous driving causing death and reckless conduct endangering life.
He was bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 22 November.
