Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 60-year-old man following the alleged fatal assault of a man in Lethbridge on Saturday, 6 August.
The Bell Post Hill man was charged last night with one count of murder and will appear in Geelong Magistrates’ Court this morning.
It’s alleged the victim, an 86-year-old man, was assaulted at his Burrows Road address about 8pm.
He was taken to hospital where he died on Monday afternoon.
Both parties were known to one another.
