Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of a man in Portland on Thursday.
Police were called to an address on Park Street after a man, who is yet to be formally identified, was located deceased about 7.30pm.
Police arrested a 45-year-old man at the Park Street address.
The Portland man has been charged with one count of murder.
He has been remanded to appear at Warrnambool Magistrates’ Court on 22 January.
