A 38-year-old man from Ulverstone has been arrested and charged following a wounding incident in Ulverstone early this morning. The victim is receiving medical treatment in hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing with further enquiries to be undertaken by Detectives from the Western Criminal Investigation Branch.
Police would like to advise that this was an isolated incident with no identified risk to members of the public.
