Sex Assault Squad detectives have charged a 56-year-old man with sexual offences as a result of their investigation into an incident that occurred in Henderson during the early hours of Monday, 7 March 2022.
It is alleged the man sexually assaulted two girls aged 17 and 19, at an accommodation unit within a licensed premise on Quill Way. It is further alleged the man held them against their will and would not let them out of the room. One of the victims managed to call police who attended and took the man into custody. The victims were conveyed to hospital for medical treatment.
The 56-year-old man from Henderson is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 8 March 2022 on the charges of:-
• Five counts of Sexual Penetration without Consent;
• Two counts of Unlawful and Indecent Assault;
• Two counts of Deprivation of Liberty; and
• One count of Attempted Sexual Penetration without Consent.
