Detectives from Westgate Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team have charged a man as part of their ongoing investigation into a number of sexual assaults.
A 20-year-old Braybrook man was arrested at an address in Moama Street about 8.30am on Monday 18 July.
He has been interviewed and charged with over 50 offences including sexual assault, grooming for sexual act, encourage child under 16 for sex act, solicit child abuse material, possess child abuse material and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.
He was remanded into custody and will face Melbourne Magistrates’ Court 22 July.
