Wyndham Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man after a large amount of amphetamine was allegedly located in Melbourne yesterday (1 May).
Police intercepted a parcel that had been delivered to a home in the Werribee area about 1pm.
The parcel allegedly contained about 20kg of amphetamine.
Detectives later executed a warrant at a home on Maroondah Terrace, Bundoora, where a further 20kg of amphetamine was allegedly located.
A 21-year-old Bundoora man was arrested at the scene.
He has been charged with import a marketable quantity of a border controlled drug and has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today (2 May).
