Police charge man over intimate images in Eastern Suburbs PAC

A man has been charged with taking intimate photos of women on beaches in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

About 3pm yesterday (Saturday 3 December 2022), officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command attended Bronte Beach after lifeguards spoke to a man who was found to have intimate images of women on his mobile phone.

It will be alleged that the images were taken that afternoon at Bronte Beach.

Following further inquires it will also be alleged that a number of other images and videos were taken at Bondi Beach about 2.45pm on Saturday 19 November 2022.

The identity of the women is unknown.

Officers arrested the Parramatta man where he was taken to Waverley Police Station and charged with two counts of intentionally record intimate image without consent.

He was refused bail and appeared before Parramatta Local Court today (Sunday 4 December 2022), where he was granted conditional bail to appear at Waverley Local Court on Tuesday 13 December 2022.

Investigations are continuing.
