Detectives from the Sexual Crimes Squad have charged a man as part of an investigation into two sexual assaults believed to have occurred between October 2018 and March 2020.
Police allege victim’s were matched with a man on a dating application whom they subsequently met and were sexually assaulted by.
A 25-year-old Berwick man was arrested yesterday morning and has been charged with four counts of rape and two counts of common law assault.
He was remanded into custody and will face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court later today.
