Police charge man over large quantity of drugs at Logan

Police have charged a 37-year-old man in relation to the discovery of a large quantity of illegal drugs at a number of properties at Logan.

Around 9.15am on August 21, police executed search warrants simultaneously at houses at Drews Road at Tanah Merah and Saverin Road at Eagleby.

While searching the Drews Road address police allegedly located a large quantity of drugs.

This discovery led police to execute a further search warrant at a storage shed at City Road at Beenleigh where more illegal drugs were located.

Overall police seized at both premises a total of 115 MDMA tablets, methamphetamine, restricted prescription drugs, cannabis, hydroponic equipment, various types of ammunition and cash.

A 37-year-old Tanah Merah man has been charged with multiple offences including trafficking a dangerous drug, produce a dangerous drug, possess property suspected of being proceeds of a crime, possess a dangerous drug, supply a dangerous drug, possess utensil and authority required to possess explosives.

He appeared will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
