A man has been charged over the alleged sexual assault of a woman in Sydney’s south east.
On Wednesday (17 September 2025), officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command commenced an investigation following reports a 45-year-old woman had allegedly been sexually assaulted by a man at Eastlakes on Wednesday 10 September 2025.
Following inquiries, a 42-year-old man was arrested at Maroubra Police Station yesterday (Thursday 18 September 2025).
He was charged with sexual intercourse without consent and was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 6 today (Friday 19 September 2025).
