Police charge man over wounding at Rosny Skate Park

Police have charged an 18-year-old man from Bellerive with Wounding in relation to an incident at the Rosny Skate Park last night.

Around 5.15pm police and emergency services responded to a report of a wounding at the location.

A man aged in his 30s had received knife wounds to his lower leg and thigh.

Police and paramedics quickly attended the scene where first aid was provided to the victim and a search of the area was conducted for the offender.

Police located three males believed to have been involved in the incident. They were taken into police custody and assisted with enquiries.

Two of the males were released without charge.

The charged man has been bailed to appear before the Hobart Magistrates Court at a later date.
