Police charge man with historical child sexual offences

The WA Police Force has charged a 47-year-old man in relation to alleged child sexual offences.

It is alleged between 2009 and 2018, the man sexually assaulted two girls who were aged 11 and 16 at the time of the first offence.

The 47-year-old man from the southern suburbs has been charged with:

  • 7 counts of Indecent Dealings with Child Under 13 Years;
  • 4 counts of Stupefying in order to Commit an Indictable Offence;
  • 3 counts of Sexual Penetration of a Child Under 13;
  • 1 count of Sexual Coercion;
  • 2 counts of Aggravated Sexual Coercion;
  • 1 count of Indecently Deals with a Child Over 13 Under 16;
  • 1 count of Aggravated Sexual Penetration without Consent;
  • 1 count of Persistent sexual conduct with Child under 16;
  • 3 counts of Sexual Penetration without Consent; and
  • 1 count of Carried on a child-related business without a current assessment notice.

He is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court on 26 May 2022.
