Homicide Squad Detectives have charged a 27-year-old man with one count of Murder as the result of their investigation into the death of a 31-year-old Kununurra woman.
Ms. Waterloo was last seen alive during the evening of Saturday 9 October 2021, and it will be alleged the charged man was with her at this time.
It will be further alleged the man caused her death, leaving her body in bushland east of the Kununurra townsite.
Her body was discovered on Sunday 24 October 2021.
The 27-year-old man from Derby will appear in the Kununurra Magistrates Court via video link from Perth on Tuesday, 2 November 2021.
