Police charge teens after Dallas burglary

Hume Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged two teenagers following a burglary in Dallas this morning.

It’s alleged two men gained access to the Dargie Court business about 4.50am.

Upon police attendance the teens had fled the scene, empty handed.

They were arrested a short time later on Dobell Place.

A 17-year-old from Broadmeadows has been charged with burglary and commit and indictable offence while on bail.

Another 17-year-old also from Broadmeadows has been charged with burglary and possesses cannabis.

They are both due to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
