Police Charge Teens After Fatal Stabbing – Mt Druitt

Two teenage boys have been charged following an alleged fatal stabbing in Sydney’s west last week.

Shortly before 9pm on Friday 9 October 2026, emergency services were called to Cleeve Close, Mt Druitt, following reports of an assault.

Officers attached to Mt Druitt Police Area Command attended and located a man – aged in his 30s – suffering stab wounds to his torso.

Officers rendered assistance to the man prior to the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, despite the efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident commenced with the assistance of the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad, under Strike Force Lanilo.

Following extensive inquiries, investigators arrested a 13-year-old boy at Mt Druitt Police Station about 7.20pm yesterday (Sunday 11 October 2026).

He was charged with murder, breach of bail, and an unrelated offence of robbery in company.

About 8pm yesterday (Sunday 11 October 2026), police attended a home in Cabramatta, where they arrested a 16-year-old boy.

He was taken to Cabramatta Police Station where he was charged with murder – accessory after the fact to an offence.

The boys were refused bail to appear before a children’s court today (Monday 12 October 2026).
